Email deliverability is critical to the successful transmission and sharing of your documents with your customers and suppliers. If a document does not reach the intended recipient then this could mean a missed payment, delivery of goods or essential information not being shared.
PT-X Connect is a hosted service and Bottomline sends emails on behalf of your organization. Each
email is signed before it is sent which protects emails from being dismissed as SPAM and by default uses the pt-x.com domain which is automatically verified.
However, it is also possible to use your own domain, making it clear to your customers and suppliers where an email has come from. In order for emails to be sent from your email address rather than the default noreply@pt-x.com email address, your domain must be verified. This requires changes to your DNS records to authorise PT-X Connect to send emails on your behalf.
Once verified, emails that are received from PT-X Connect will not contain "via" or "on behalf of".
